A shocking curveball was thrown into the American Idol competition on Wednesday night when Chris Daughtry, the rocker who was predicted early on to be the winner, was sent home after receiving the lowest amount of votes.


This pits my Idol Elliott Yamin against Taylor Hicks and Katherine McPhee.

We're getting closer, and I really think he's going to win this.
